Privacy Policy

Who we are

Konɛcti Mɛ is a marketplace that connects customers, vendors, and riders across Tarkwa, Wassa Akropong, and nearby towns. The operator (“we”, “us”) is the account owner at yourdreamsupplier@gmail.com. We process personal data as a data controller under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

• Account. Name, email, phone, town, role (customer, vendor, rider, or admin), password hash, and optional photo.
• Location. Exact coordinates from your phone when you open the app, pin a shop, set pickup or drop-off, or go online as a rider. Shop pins are stored so the shop stays on the map even when the vendor is not looking at the app.
• Jobs. Pickup and drop-off text and coordinates, order items, fares, voice notes, chat, in-app call metadata, and who the job is for if you send it to someone else.
• Payments. Daily fee records, MoMo references, Paystack transaction ids if the owner has connected Paystack. We do not store full card numbers.
• Device. App install status, approximate network type for maps, and technical logs needed to keep the service running.

Why we use it

We use this data only to run Konɛcti Mɛ: match a rider to a job, show the true pickup and drop-off on the map, deliver an order, confirm a daily fee, stop fraud, and improve reliability on the belt. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your live location for advertising.

Who sees a pin

A live pin is shown only to people on that job — you, the assigned rider, the shop for a delivery, and admins who must settle a dispute or keep the map honest. Nearby online riders may see an approximate pickup so they can accept work. After the job ends, the stored pin stays on the ticket for support, not on a public map.

Maps and third parties

Pins are matched with Google Maps (if a key is set), CARTO tiles, and OpenStreetMap / Nominatim. Hosting, email, Paystack, and push notifications are provided by our processors. Those companies see only what they need to provide that service. Map providers have their own privacy terms. We are not responsible for how they independently process queries you send through their tools.

How long we keep it

Account and shop location stay while the account is open. Job pins, chat, and voice notes stay as long as needed for delivery, disputes, and accounting, then are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer required. You can ask us to delete your account. We may keep a limited record where Ghana law requires it (for example a confirmed payment).

Your rights

Under Act 843 you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing that is not required to complete a live job. Location on a phone is asked so pickup and drop-off can sit on the real place you typed. You can refuse, but then we can only use the town or a pin you tap, which is less accurate for the rider.

Security and children

We use signed-in sessions, hashed passwords, and role limits so a customer cannot see another person’s jobs. No method is perfect. Konɛcti Mɛ is not for children under 18. Do not create an account for a child.
